All About Our Design:
Disney After Dark shows the energy transfer run through all 4 parks: Hollywood Studios passing by Tower of Terror, then passing by the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom, through the maze and corkscrewing into Epcot and having a final stop in Magic Kingdom with the POP of fireworks!
A list of the steps/energy transfers that our machine uses:
First, the marbles will be released by pulling the lever. The marbles will roll down the ramp which is where the motor is. Next, it will go to the funnel which brings the marbles to the PVC pipes. After the PVC pipes, the marbles will go to our maze. When the marbles come out of the maze, they will continue down the corkscrew into the pipe. The pipe goes into the Pringles can that lead to the ramp. The marbles hit the tennis ball which that hits the cardboard with nails and needles which will hit the balloon and POP!
A list of parts that we used:
- Toilet paper and paper towel rolls
Pringles Cans
Cardboard boxes
PVC pipes
Pool Noodles
Paper Plates
Plastic Plumber pipe
Nails and sewing needles
plastic bottles
Clorox wipe containers
pipe cleaners
balloons
glue and tape

Struggles throughout our project:
Time was a struggle sometimes. In the beginning, we worked two mornings a week. Once we got closer to the deadline, we work every morning, after we ate lunch and through our recess. The storms made us lose some time. We realized that everyone needed a task so that we could get things done. Sometimes we would not use our time wisely.
Great job. Your hard work paid off
