  This is the first time any of us have done the EnergyWhiz in our school.
  Our school has never done EnergyWhiz before this moment.
  Our school is one of the newest in the district, which is why this is the first time our school has done EnergyWhiz.

What we did was make a solar oven and create cinnamon-related pastries and food in the oven. Kara and Dominic worked on the main design (also with some help from Mayowa) while Mayowa and Leonel worked on recipes that would hopefully appeal to the judges.

Recipes

Apple Crisps:

Ingredients

Apples

Brown sugar

Tablespoons of flour

Salt

Cinnamon

Baking soda

Baking powder

Oatmeal

Margarine

Cinnamon Rolls

-Store bought cinnamon rolls.

-Cook it in the Solar oven.

-Put cinnamon, icing, ect. on it.

Congratulations you did it!

Now you have mini cinnamon rolls!

Cinnamon Apple Dumplings

-Get dough.

– …and put semi-crushed apples and cinnamon inside.

-Tie it into a dumpling

-Use solar oven to cook it

Congratulations you did it! 

Now you have apple cinnamon dumplings!

Apple crisps

-Get apple slices dehydrate for 10 minutes

-Use on solar oven until crispy (don’t burn it!)

-Put cinnamon on the apple crisps
