This piece was meant to bring attention to the problem of global warming becoming increasingly destructive and also the problem of nothing being done about it. Everyone always says, “I’m going to help! I’m going to volunteer later!” Well, I’m tired of “going” to help. The Earth needs help now. No more stalling. I want to make sure “that one day we live with smoke above us and ash beneath us” never happens.
