We chose this project because last year and it was fun. Last year we didn’t do very good, so we wanted to do it again and do better. We all did energy whiz except for Alvin but he knows about it. And we just want to have fun and win.
We did this project last year, but we did not even get to test it out, so we used almost the same food but slightly different.
FOODS:
WATER- Get a bottle of water from Walmart
CANNED CORN: Get Aldi’s golden sweet corn and put butter on it if you can’t find sweet corn put a dash of sugar and a tad of honey.
NACHOS-Get chips and put cheese over them and add more toppings if you want and mix them up.
PIZZA BAGEL-Get a bagel and put cheese and hot sauce on top and put it in the oven.
CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOWS WITH CRACKERS- Melt chocolate and put marshmallows in it too and get crackers to dip.
How to make solar oven:
Put the tin foil all around the inside of the cardboard box and tape it to the box. With the scissors cut a hole at the side of the bottom. Put a funnel on top of the box. Put black paint on da outside of the box. Put the saran wrap on top of the funnel.

just one suggestion, materials used to cook food need to be nontoxic, will the heat of your cooker melt the astro turf…
Great presentation!
Your design including the door and window was very practical. You could improve your project next year by including a description of how the solar cooker works and some test data showing how effective your design is.
